The city of Mohali was recently renamed as Ajitgarh, after Sahibzada Ajit Singh, the eldest son of Guru Gobind Singh. The city is located adjacent to the state capital Chandigarh and is considered a part of the tri city, Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali.
