Seoni is one of the smaller districts in Madhya Pradesh, but when it comes to natural beauty, it is one of the best in the state. Apart from that, there is something that sets Seoni apart from other tourist destinations. It is believed that the famous author Rudyard Kipling based his renowned masterpiece, ‘Jungle Book’ on this place. In fact, the settings described in the book, the mountains, the valleys, the forests, etc., can actually be found here. The Seona trees are the primary attraction here, and the place is called ‘Seoni’ because of these trees.
Of course, apart from just taking a stroll in and around the district, these are the five places you should at least spend a day on while you are in Seoni.
