1. Mattupetty Lake
The Mattupetty Lake is considered as one of the main places to visit while you are in Devikulam. It is situated about 26km away from the main city but it is totally worth the travel. 2. Eravikulam National Park
The Eravikulam National Park is about 15km from Munnar and is spread over an area of around 97 sq.km. It was set up in 1978 to protect the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. The park was initially a sanctuary but was eventually made into a national park. Among other animals, one can find the Malabar civet, sambar deer and langurs in the park. The unique bird species found in the park are also magnificent. 3. Sita Devi Lake
The famous Sita Devi Lake is also known as the Devikulam lake and one of the most popular tourist spots in the area. The lake is surrounded by trees and lush greenery making it a perfect picnic spot. 4. Keezharkuthu Falls
Keezharkuthu Falls are popularly known as rainbow falls and is one of the best places to visit in Devikulam. The rocks are at a height of about 1500m and the surrounding greenery is known to be the home of various medicinal and therapeutic plants. This modern day adventure park is located in Munnar and has facilities like water cycling, roller skating and rides.
