Popularly referred to as the ‘Queen of Chotanagpur’, this town in the state of Jharkhand is located at a height of 1,128 metres. Netarhat, which is nestled in the Pat region of Chota Nagpur Plateau, can be one of the most magnificent weekend flights from the clutches of monotony. The hill station is covered with dense emerald forest, lush woodland and majestic, barren rocks. The trimmed gardens, pruned orchards, churches and colonial architecture, which can be witnessed in and around the area, can be traced back to the British Raj (British Rule).
